LIVE8.. Key word: LIVE

With the Live8 concert only 4 days away, it seems only fair that i decided to see what channel 9 had in store for my viewing pleasure... little did i know that channel 9 will NOT be broadcasting the concert live...(Live8 not live?? what the??) but will show a "highlights package" THE DAY AFTER THE EVENT. Instead the concert will be broadcast LIVE on PAY TV FOXTEL.... Now, let's just think about the point of why Bob Geldof organized Live8 this year, why the tickets to the concert are free, why it seems that everywhere else the concert will be broadcast live and free.... FOR BLOODY AWARENESS OF POVERTY, DAMNIT!!!!! Now i don't want to get all preachy about how everyone should know about the problems that exist outside of our own backyards, but for a project to be this size and not get the appropriate coverage that it deserves is just ridiculous and from a disappointed fans point of view, it's just plain unfair.... Just thought i'd say...
